From the Providence Area Take I-95 South to Rt. 4 South (this exit bears off to the left). Follow Rt. 4 South to the junction of Rt. 1 South; take Rt. 1 South to the Rt. 138-east exit (Jamestown and Newport Bridges). Go over both bridges (Newport Bridge is a $2.00 toll), and take the first exit (Scenic Downtown). At the bottom of the exit take a right onto Farewell Street, follow to the second traffic light and turn right on to America’s Cup Avenue. At the seventh traffic light, turn right on to Lower Thames Street. Travel approximately ¼ mile and bear right on to Wellington Avenue (there will be a Shell Gas station on your left). Follow Wellington Avenue to the stop sign; turn right at the stop sign. At the next stop sign take a right on to Harrison Avenue; follow along Harrison Avenue, passing Fort Adams State Park on your right. At the fork in the road, bear right on to Ridge Road. Oceancliff I and II is approximately ½ mile down the road on the right-hand side. Drive up the property and bear to the left. Check in is at the Front Desk in the Main Lobby of the shingle style building.

From the Boston Area Take Rt. 24 South to the junction of Rt. 114 in Portsmouth, RI. (Rt. 24 ends at this point). Follow Rt. 114 through Portsmouth and Middletown (West Main Road) in to Newport (Broadway). Rt. 114 (Broadway) will merge into one lane, follow Broadway in to downtown Newport and turn left at the traffic light on to Thames Street (this will be your only option at this point). Travel on the cobblestone street until you can bear right towards a traffic light. Take a left at the traffic light on to America’s Cup Avenue. Travel through three traffic lights and bear right on to Lower Thames Street. Travel approximately ¼ mile and bear right on to Wellington Avenue (there will be a Shell Gas station on your left). Follow Wellington Avenue to the stop sign; turn right at the stop sign. At the next stop sign take a right on to Harrison Avenue; follow along Harrison Avenue, passing Fort Adams State Park on your right. At the fork in the road, bear right on to Ridge Road.
